I'm sick of seeing women proclaim they had an abortion because they simply got knocked up. Do they not realize they are the reason why roe v wade got overturned? Because of them women who legitimately need abortions due to medical reasons, rape, incest etc. now are going to have to carry their babies to term. You're not brave if you had an abortion because you were irresponsible, you're a fucking coward.

or, you know, we could just allow people to make decisions over their own body, including terminating their pregnancy regardless of whether the pregnancy is endangering, the circumstances of the conceptions etc.

It probably exists, but my impression is that this is the promotion of the myth that abortion is generally an alternative to contraception.

This OP seems to think abortion is somehow an easy alternative to (other types of) birth control. I'm pretty sure most women would prefer birth control pills or one of those implants or an IUD in addition to having their partner wear a condom over having to make an appointment, miss work, and proclaim on their insurance forms (where applicable) they're having an elective abortion. And the abortion itself doesn't sound like fun either.

It's not the fault of women who used the services of abortion clinics that Roe v Wade was overturned. It is the fault of five SCOTUS judges, three of whom were appointed by Donald fucking Trump. Stop trying to turn women against each other and start trying to work towards a common goal: the restructuring of the case for national protection of healthcare for women.

I believe so. Even though RBG herself disliked how the law was written - at least from what I understand - I can't see Clinton-appointed judges going back on a settled law like that.

If Clinton had been elected, and the Republicans controlled the Senate the entire time, I think there would have been 3 empty seats on the Supreme Court at the end of her time in office. But I think that court probably would not have overturned Roe v. Wade.

I don’t think “sluts” are the reason of the recent Roe overturning.

Somehow I don't think they are the reason, DH, I think rigging the Supreme Court had a LOT more to do with it.
