I did not expect you to be flippant regarding this patent double standard regarding teacher/student encounters.

The double standard is based on sound instinct. Most adolescent boys and men enjoy casual sex and sexual variety. Most adolescent girls and women do not.

It is men who cause minors harm by making moves on them. If a male teacher had done this to the 13 year old boy, he would deserve to be seriously punished. A man would also deserve to be seriously punished if he did this to a 13 year old girl.

The double standard, like the assertions of race realism, consists of truths that used to be acknowledged by nearly everyone.

Ahhh but your comment implies that some girls D-O enjoy that, and would enjoy that. Conversely, some boys D-O N-O-T enjoy that, and would not enjoy that. So since we cannot deduce which individuals would be damaged by such interactions, and which ones would not, we should have a zero tolerance approach to all such interactions.

For the record, I am not one who could have enjoyed casual sex and sexual variety. I have never been tempted to hire a prostitute. I am innately monogamous.

What Rumah Byrapaka did was wrong, but not terribly wrong. She deserves some kind of punishment, but it should not be severe. Her mug shot indicates that she has already been humiliated by this.

Let’s be honest? We should protect young girls, too. We should recognize the hurt this teacher has caused young girls the same age as this boy. She’s taken something from this boys classmates, the girls, the classmates, this boys own age.

I agree. As a young student in Junior High and High School, I longed for the day when one of my female teachers would have tried something like this, especially if she would have sent me naked photos of her (of course, we didn't have cellphones at the time). Heck, even the less attractive teachers would have been hard to resist since my hormones were raging at the time! I wasn't the only young male teen who fantasied about it either. Most guys in school did, and it was common knowledge.

The 1970s was a different era, and if a female teacher was caught fornicating with her students, she likely would have been reprimanded and not much more than that. Things didn't really start to change until the latter 1980s or early 1990s.

I also agree that if a male does this to a boy or a young male teenager (regardless of the era), he ought to get prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. In my perfect world, something worse ought to happen to him than merely a jail sentence. Either way, it's unnatural and can really psychologically screw up a young teenager's head. This applies as well to female teachers - although I concede that the vast majority of teenage males are simply not traumatized by the sexual advances of their teachers. It's most often something they're proud of, and makes them feel more like a man. It proves, once again, how different males are from females.

And no, I'm NOT advocating that it's okay for adult female teachers to engage in sex with their younger male students. I'm simply pointing out differences in perspective and attitude that teenage males and teenage females feel about this sort of thing.

For many whites, it’s a game of ‘let’s pretend.’

I agree with Jared Taylor that most people prefer others of their race. I believe this preference is genetic. However, genes vary, so innate inclinations vary too.

I learned that Oriental girls existed when I was six or seven. I remember thinking, "Some white girls are pretty. Some are not. All Oriental girls are pretty." No one taught me to feel that that way. I felt that way because it was natural for me to feel that way, My two best friends in high school were Chinese Americans.

On the other hand, there is nothing I admire in the culture of the black urban underclass.

Blacks appeal to me to the extent that they have internalized white values and behavior. They do not have to be as intelligent as whites. They have to be as decent. I like blacks who are Oreos - black on the outside, but white on the inside. When they were growing up they were ostracized and beaten up for "acting white."

Race is the liberal's weakest issue. It is the issue where liberal reforms have obviously failed, and where liberal hypocrisy is equally obvious. Liberals praise school integration, but they send their children to schools with few or nor no blacks in them. White blue collar workers, who cannot afford to to that, pay the price for liberal ideals. It is a price liberals avoid paying.

Well, not all Asians are attractive, not all of white girls are attractive, but none of pure blacks are attractive. BTW, you know Orientals is the old, archaic way of referring to Asians, right? Not a big deal to me personally, but some may think it's not respectful. Just my $0.02.

What I mean by "Oriental" are China, and nations that learned civilization from the Chinese. These are Korea, Japan, and Vietnam.

Calling them Asians ignores the fact that many people who live in Asia are Caucasians. Calling them "East Asians" feels like a concession to political correctness.

When I told my Vietnamese girl friend, "I prefer Oriental women." she did not get angry at me. She smiled and said, "You think we are much more wonderful."

A possible reason for my attraction to Oriental women is that they have less testosterone than white women. Therefore they are more feminine.

Once I asked on Quora, "If you are East Asian, do you think the use of the word "Oriental" is derogatory? None of the Orientals who answered said it was derogatory. Several were surprised by the question.

I have been told that we are not supposed to use the word "Negro" any more. Now the politically correct term is "African American." I have never in my life heard a Negro use the term "African American." If I used that term with the Negroes I know, they would probably think I was being hoity toity.

Here's a definitive Q for Americans:
Your only daughter is bringing home her fiance' for an introduction meeting.
Would you prefer that he is:
A. Your Race
B. A Different Race {Alt. Black, Hispanic, Asian, White}
C. Does not matter.
D. Just glad she's straight.

An Oriental of the other sex would be fine with me.

Anti Racism has become a shabby substitute for lost religious faith. Secular liberals pride themselves for rejecting a religion that cannot prove its tenets. They have adopted a dogma that can be disproved. This is what Charles “the Apostate” Murray has said about their dogma in his September 2005 Commentary essay “The Inequality Taboo:”

Putting this in my own words I will say that a person’s race can usually be determined by appearance, and always by DNA analysis.

Once we acknowledge that race is an important biological classification of humans, it should be acceptable to study the durable ways the races differ in average intelligence, academic performance, criminal behavior, and sexual behavior.

But it is not. When one is accused of racism truth is no defense. It is evidence for the prosecution.

Liberals condemn conservatives for banning books from school libraries and school curriculum. Most liberals would try to fire a high school civics teacher who assigned his class to read “My Negro Problem and Ours,” by Norman Podheretz and “Race, Evolution, and Behavior,” by Professor J. Philippe Rushton.

They would probably succeed. Conservatives do not try to suppress the discussion on global warming. Liberals do try to suppress the discussion on the relationship between genes, intelligence, crime, and race. Nevertheless, it is liberals who condemn conservatives for opposing science. Race has become an area where the more one rejects science the more enlightened one is said to be.

In addition to being a religious substitute, anti racism gives affluent liberals an alternative to working for the economic reforms that would restore a steeply progressive tax system, and which would raise their taxes. Anti racism gives affluent liberals, who have lived, gone to school, and worked in nearly all white and Oriental environments, the opportunity to condemn the racism of white blue workers who attended black majority public schools, lost job opportunities to affirmative action, and been victims of black criminals.

There is going to be a white backlash against this. I hope it persists, unlike the one that happened after Reconstruction and the civil rights movement of the 1960's. I supported the civil rights movement as a child, a teenager, and a young adult. I was mistaken. The black response to the civil rights legislation and the War on Poverty confirms conservative and segregationist arguments against them. The civil rights legislation was forced on whites with extensive experience with Negroes by whites with little experience with them. The last twelve thousand years of human evolution has not prepared most Negroes for the requirements of civilization. These are intelligence, obedience to the law, and monogamy. Characteristics that enabled the ancestors of Negroes to thrive in the jungles of Africa earn for many of them felony convictions in civilized countries.

I wish it did not have to be this way. The minority of blacks who behave and perform as well as the majority of whites deserve equal rights. The majority deserves to be reduced to second class citizenship. Segregation and Jim Crow legislation was based on sound instinct. There is often wisdom in tradition. A criminal justice system that is effective on whites is insufficiently harsh for blacks. Before the civil rights movement that was understood in the United States, and especially in the South. That is why, when a black man and a white man committed the same crime, the black man was given much more punishment.

Before the civil rights movement whites killed blacks all the time. Blacks did not dare protest, because they knew they would be massacred.

Coincidentally, the early 1900s was a time when European nations started shifting from a patriarchal system to one of "equality" and pandering towards women. A society run not by women but for women and later coloreds and the mentally ill. What a shame...

Learning and intelligence depends on the BRAIN and how well a child can actually learn. White children have a genetic advantage based on a better brain and related upbringing. How many black children have parents who actually take an interest in their cognitive abilities and scholastic standing? My parents insisted I learn and learn what teachers taught. The definition is "success = white". Asians who succeed thus become "white". If Hispanics ever reached the same level (highly doubtful) they would become "white" as well.
