Let’s pretend for a moment that you don’t need evidence, that vibes based on the latest mass hysteria is the best way to determine the “truth”. Let’s also pretend that “curing” trans people is possible and doing this would reduce their violence levels to zero, as if a violence level of zero was actually normal, especially for men. Let’s say that you were united in a crusade to “de-transify” people in order to end that violence. Is that really going to be a good return on your efforts?
This is why I don’t buy arguments like that. It’s not about ending or even significantly reducing violence, it’s about insuring that the “right” people (whoever they’re defining as the right people) have a monopoly on it.
ICE commits more shootings in a month in the US than trans people in a year globally. And unlike ICE, trans people live in real fear from most people with nowhere near the public defence and legal protection from illegal action ICE enjoys especially as entirely legal action/protected rights are suddenly worthy of suspicion, scrutiny, or scorn.
Canada just had it’s worst school shooting in our history, which ghouls like you are excitedly stroking yourselves over, and while we’re busy figuring out the why of the shooting and the how of a teenager getting their hands on an assault rifle you’re out to promote a violent culling and make people so afraid for their lives and safety on a daily basis and so constantly at each other’s throats that this becomes less a shocking national tragedy and closer to an American Tuesday. I’d say you should be ashamed of yourself but I know well enough you’re not capable of it.
