It does make me sick to be constantly being told I'm racist because I'm white. I'm sick of being told I'm privileged. I'm sick of being made to feel like I personally did anything wrong to someone because of their race. Liberals need to jump off the racism band wagon. There just trying to make us all hate one another.

I mean, i’ve spent long stretches of my life without having to preface remarks with, “I’m not racist but…”

Most of the time, when it’s pointed out that white people do get a degree of privilege from being white, liberals don’t take offense at that. If they’d never encountered the idea before, they might be taken aback at first, or even feel vaguely attacked without really knowing why - but once they get what is really meant by that, it merely becomes another aspect of reality which they occasionally have to acknowledge and adjust their behavior accordingly, assuming they care about fairness. Most of the time. We do occasionally get dumbass libs who either don’t get it or don’t care about fairness; humans are all over the place, after all.
Meanwhile most white people aren’t told they’re racist. They might occasionally be told that they’re participating in systems which are subtly racist. Which again doesn’t mean don’t participate in such systems, just be mindful how it affects others, if it ever becomes relevant and you care about fairness. They’re not the same thing. If a white person gets genuinely told they’re being racist, it’s either because some idiot who should know better hasn’t figured out the distinction yet, or much more likely, because they’re genuinely behaving inappropriately.
I (as a white man, if you didn’t know that already lol) have been accused of racism a FEW times in my life. Ya know, because of some online conversation where I made a few jokes that I really shouldn’t have. Or when I was in a chat room and my line of conversation got shut down by an overzealous moderator when I was just trying to talk about history. But still though….if you’re “constantly being told you’re a racist”….there’s probably at least a good reason why people think that!
