Robert Mueller just died. Good, I’m glad he’s dead. He can no longer hurt innocent people!

…sayeth that after innocent girls at a school were murdered on its watch.
What a sign on President Truman’s desk said, Don Old Fart.
I learned Chuck Norris died because of hundreds of comments on YouTube anticipating that he would be badmouthed and demonized by “the left” which all preemptively condemned the theoretical vitriol and wished harm on people who had yet to say anything. The worst thing I saw being said was that Norris’s politics might cast a shadow on his acting career quickly followed by the classic Chuck Norris joke: “Death had to come when Chuck was good and ready, or else there would have been a fight.”
I learned Robert Mueller died reading the perverse glee at his death.
The people he flipped say otherwise, others were arrested. He was a far better man. He didn't leer at a 10 year old, have an affair with a porn star while his wife was pregnant, actually served our country, didn't launder money, didn't give secrets to foreign hostile actors.
The main thing to remember about Robert Mueller is that he was one of the last truly moderate conservatives, and a total honor-before-reason type, and was working under secret (and likely severe) restrictions placed upon him by Bill Barr’s Department of Justice, so he was very limited in what he was allowed to investigate and how he was allowed to present it. Even then, he still “betrayed” the Right Wing by not painting Trump as being totally innocent of any “maybe”-wrongdoing. At the same time, what he did eventually present was rather lackluster and missing some of the really bad stuff, but it’s hard to judge because we don’t know exactly what restrictions he was under (unless that was leaked at some later point and I missed it). For better or worse, “traitor to the Right” and “disappointing weaksauce investigation” are the legacies which most people will remember him by.
Admittedly, I know like nothing about Robert Mueller or what he did…but damn, that’s just…low. I, as a total left-wing Democrat, didn’t like Charlie Kirk, but I certainly didn’t celebrate his death, I wasn’t glad he died. You can talk bad about someone who just died, IMO, that’s OK, but to say you were glad he died? That’s kinda “crossing the line” to me. But I should really expect nothing less at this point, I guess.
Confused?
