I’m SURE the TERFs are jumping for joy about Trump’s “Protect Women” EO; meanwhile, with a stroke of a pen, he’s erased intersex people from existence AND forced anyone with mismatched chromosomes to use the wrong bathroom. Way to go, Donald!
Of course, you COULD laugh at the fact the EO shows a 5th grade understanding of human biology… Check this out:

(b) “Women” or “woman” and “girls” or “girl” shall mean adult and juvenile human females, respectively.
(c) “Men” or “man” and “boys” or “boy” shall mean adult and juvenile human males, respectively.
(d) “Female” means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the large reproductive cell.
(e) “Male” means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the small reproductive cell.

That would actually be the correct definition of the female and male sex in the context of biology. Notably, there are microorganisms where there is no differentiation between maicro- and macrogametes, but still have gamete compatibility systems that may in fact be far more complex; in this case, the term “mating type ” is used instead of “sex”.
