All valid: What Russia is doing is awful. It’s good to support Ukraine. But also, why DO our leaders seem to care more about Ukraine’s sovereignty than ours? Why ARE they more concerned with democracy there than crumbling democracy in the West? Why NOT more outrage toward China?

Pretty sure if China decides to march troops into Taiwan, the world’s reaction would be similar.

Is this more of the 2020 election was stolen, bullshit? Come the fuck on its been two years now get over it and move on.

Last time I checked, it’s not the Democratic party (your current leaders) who’se minions attempted a coup in the USA and bring down the democracy just to install an unfit dictator…

Your guy lost the election. That’s not the same as our country losing sovereignty. You’re just butthurt WAY out of proportion to the facts.

One can be slightly forgiving in that people like this usually live in a social bubble and a media bubble where they see people like themselves everywhere, and barely see people not like themselves; there’s this whole narrative where they’re the majority, yet their cultural influence is limited and they’re under-performing politically.

There are a bunch of reasonable conclusions which can be drawn from that position - including that people like them are being politically disenfranchised - but all of them are wrong. The reality is unreasonable, unless they see outside their bubbles - but there are also political influences which are very invested in making sure most of them don’t do that…

That being said, only slightly forgiving, because their “reasonable” reactions are often very damaging.

I like your analysis. That's been a criticism of our information society, that a lot of people are misinformed because they only see information that agrees with them.

You wouldn’t know Democracy if it showed up as a humanoid and hit you in the face with a giant tuna.

Biden is saving Democracy. The country should not be dictated by a bigoted, anti-American, theocratic, backwards minority of the population who have more influence that they should due to gerrymandering, the current set up of the Electoral College and voter suppression.
