Every kid going to school has a vaccination record. Different states have different required vaccinations, but they all have shots.
Big Bird isn’t saying anyone HAS to have the shot, just that the shot is nothing to be afraid of. If Satan’s reassuring little kids and Ted Cruz is frightening them, i guess i’m pro-Satan.

A show initially conceived to provide education to poor and minority families, featuring a wide spectrum of people across all colours, creeds, capabilities and construction materials, including POC, the autism spectrum, the deaf, interracial couples, a homeless Grouch and, despite denials from the CTW, a clearly gay couple, was never going to win many fans amongst the hardline "burn America to the ground, slaughter the women and children, and salt the earth so it may never rise again, all to pwn der Libz” GOP. It's no surprise they want to defund PBS - it makes people smart, and they can't have THAT! A real pity that Fred isn't here to talk some sense into them this time.

I would have thought he should get the vaccination for bird flu, instead. Still, Big Bird is only a cartoon character, so they’re making him into a good role model for children to be vaccinated, as they did with Star War characters.
