It is funny that I see people on the left here tell us how they are the ones that are open to opposing ideas. But my experience on this FB group has been horrendous. I've had to block about 20 people on the left because they use defamation as a tool to try and silence me. I have had to block ZERO people on the right even though I regularly express far left ideas that they don't like. I am a liberal D but the D party right now is a far left socialist/Marxist party that is corrupt to the core. The people on these FB groups that use defamation/cancel culture to try and silence opposing views are like Mao's thugs that committed atrocities during the cultural revolution in China.

Open to opposing views is not the same as totally willing to listen to all of your bullshit.
I was wondering if maybe you might have a point until you started labeling people as Marxist. I wonder if HALF the people using that word define it the same way…

I swear, if I had a dollar for every single time a right-wing nutjob used “marxist/communist” wrongly, I’d be able to buy the entire Republican party and start anew with it. …Which kinda makes me wish I did get paid like that.

And yes, I did call you a “right-wing nutjob”. Because no actual liberal would call the Democrat party “marxist”. That’s also probably why you’ve had to “block ZERO people on the right”. You’re more alike than you might think.

And before you say anything I’m more of an actual liberal who leans more towards the right than left. And from this point, I can safely say most of the Democrat party is on the right side of the Liberal side of the spectrum (people like Bernie Sanders, who are more socialist, excluded). Which also means that to me, the Republicans are blatant fascists, but anyway…

And what are these “far left” ideas you’ve expressed to right wingers? Considering you call all democrats “far left socialist/Marxist” in the next sentence, I really doubt the ideas you’re expressing are far left. Honestly, I think you’re a liar and that you’re a far right asshole just like the other far righties you consider so much more reasonable than democrats.

See, people who actually are far left, like me, don’t call the Democratic Party far left. Because it isn’t. It’s center-right. And you thinking that center-right is far left, well, that says a lot more about you than you realize.

I have had to block ZERO right handed people even though I deafly express flat farmer ideas that they don't like. I am a D library but the light fist D party now is a social farter/Marx Brothers party that is corrupt to the code. The people on these FB groups that use A formation/cancel key to try and oppose committing views are like Mae's thugs that silenced atrocities during the cultural revolution in China.

Can you list Marx's 10 essential principles of communism? No? Then shut up, you ignorant liar.

I won't check Facebook to see if it makes sense. But knowing these types: opposing ideas? Sure. Swallowing obvious bullshit is something else. You also have to accept that fact checkers denounce your misinformation and disinformation. Calling them things they are not will not make you more credible. Especially if you're so radicalized that you must push the conspiracy theory that everyone else must be Marxists. Then you admit that you're the one needing to block other accounts, that says something too, just like the censorship of proper education or the closure of public libraries because their books are not controled by your organization's imprimatur.
