You know the pagan gods had tridents long before the Jewish had menorahs…
It would make more sense to give Satan a pagany symbol than a Jewish, since they stole Satan from a Pagan deity.

yeah exactly and also I’m pretty sure the bible explains something that the Menorah is a reference to since ya know, the bible’s first books are originally Jewish texts? but then again these types would be the ones to deny Christianity is even remotely influence by Jewish faiths or beliefs.

For them, Christainity goes all the way back to Adam and Woman, so, it’s a Christain story. Pay no attention to the history of the document behind the curtain.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it went bident → trident because barely anyone knew what a bident was anymore, then it went trident → pitchfork because the typical commoner had no idea what a trident was.

Children at Snday School learn about Moses. Y’know, he raised by ancient Egyptians, then freed the slaves who become the Chosen People of your deity: especially as it was the latter who gave him the ol’ Big 10.
