I keep asking this question, where were all the trans when we weee growing up and why isn’t anyone in power asking where they all came
from? Why are they not asking why medicalization and surgery is needed to be something that apparently doesn’t exist? and if it’s not a mental or a physical disorder why are we covering their “treatments”? If biology is a social construct why are they needing to be the sex they are not? It’s all illogical irrational bullshit.

Exactly! I Sometimes wonder is there something different in our brains who see reality and wanted to live in reality. Who see the ghoulish nightmare for what it is and speak up about. While the rest of the world just accepts it.

I grew up in South Central Idaho. Pretty sure the transgendered people were in the same place as the gay kids: Closeted. Hell, if you were non-Christain or socialist back then, around there, you kept it to yourself. I was the only atheist i knew about in my high school.
And one of my favorite playmates grew up in Idaho, born of an interracial couple. WHo, if they went out to eat, had to sit at different tables.

On the other hand, Wendy Carlos still did interviews in drag, as Walter Carlos, for years after she transitioned, because people were leery about the topic of transexuals.

You’re pretending this is a new phenomena, thus a fad that can be ignored. It’s just your ignorance and myopia, there.

I do, but as a kid that was bullied because I was considered weird, I also chose to hang out with the other kids that were bullied because they were considered weird.

People have also said “Can you remember one gay kid, one autistic kid, one atheist kid bla bla bla…”

Of course you don’t remember, they were closeted or sent away.

I didn't know anyone trans when I was a kid. However, I remember seeing on TV about a dancer called Chris who became Estelle, had just won the right to change their birth certificate.

So, nothing new under the sun.

BIOLOGY isn’t a social construct, GENDER ROLES are! They were born with the mind of the sex they were meant to be but the body of the other! Hence desire to transition.
