Calling it the Department of Defense sounds a lot more friendly than the Department of Armed Enforcement of National Interests.

Wouldn’t restricting the military to only cishet, alt-right conservative, fundamentalist Christian, white men make it much, much weaker?
Especially since those sorts tend to be chickenhawks who avoid actual military service at any opportunity (Trump, for example)?
