That depends on the university, I understand. The 'faith-based' ones do promote sodomy, drug use and promiscuity but those are effects rather than matters of policy.
Imagine going through the grind of four years then finding that the degree you acquired is worth lower than crap.

Side note: my university was used for adult summer schools and the like. Usually people in their thirties and forties. The staff told us they were all at it like rabbits. The exact words: "They're even worse than you lot."
Really? I must be going to the wrong university. Well, we do have a fairly active GLBT club, but that's it. Also, our Christian Union (whose meetings I regularly attend - good stuff overall) is quite large indeed.
Whereas in Bible Colleges, dumb people preach that God believes exactly as they do, and against the rights of women and gays, promote child molestation, hypocrisy and all forms of pharaisitical behaviour.
I think I should submit this to my uni... they may get increased applications if they used it as an advert.

I wish I had gone to that university. Instead, we had poverty, chastity, and obedience, just like monks.
Well I'll give you the feminism, drug-use, promiscuity and occasional sodomy, but I don't think I've actually heard anyone actively preaching against God. Being a secular institution, he's mostly just not mentioned (though we have a Chaplain and societies for most of the major religions if people want them).

Both of the colleges I went to had a GLBT society and a strict policy against drug use. Neither preached against God- they both had services for many faiths, and groups like Newman, Hillel, and the Muslim Student Society. Hardly opposed to God. Maybe if you actually knew someone who went to a real college, you'd know what it's like. Your homeshooled kids will rather join the military than get a degree with propaganda like that.
I just finished registering for next semester. I was able to get into Introduction to Sodomy because they added another section. My grades weren't good enough to get into Intermediate Promiscuity, so I'll have to repeat Basic and try again this summer. I won't be eligible for Feminism or Drug-Use until next year, although they do offer some concentrated remedial classes in August.
I like how "smart" is in scare quotes. See, being smart is terrible now. He never had to go to college--in fact, he was too good for college! Yeah! That's the ticket! He was too good to get in 'cos he made all the professors jealous. That's why he's above all us dumb brainy smarties.
Well, here at NC A&T, there is a weekly gathering of about 8 or so chaps who stand up and preach. They usually gather a crowd of a half-dozen or so. When I passed by today, they were talking about how God would want us to help our fellow man, the example used was feeding a homeless person.
Thus, your statement is falsified, unless you think God does not want us to help others.
My parents work at a University. Shouldn't I honor my father and my mother? They have never preached to me in any way about God, it was always my decision. My father is vehemently against drug-use, as he's been working with rehabilitating of narcotic addicts. Feminism is OK with them as they want me to take charge of my own life. I don't think they would have liked it if I was promiscuous. But they would have trusted me to run my own life, regardless.
Feminism is good, sodomy is just a thing that some people do that I couldn't care less about, drug-use isn't promoted, and I feel the same way about promiscuity as I do about butt-secks. So, there.
