There's only one useful thing that any of us can do every day when we get up. One thing that matters above all. That one thing is convince someone to convert some other form of property into Bitcoin.

It is a pyramid scheme after all. The idea is to get as many people to sign up so you are not at the bottom of the pyramid and have a chance to cash out before it crashes and burns.

I admittedly don't know much at all about Bitcoin, but "everybody should do x" doesn't seem like sound financial advice, almost no matter what you're talking about.

I've heard of the "almighty dollar", but I guess now it's the Cult of Bitcoin.

I hope you lose everything when the digital currency trend finally goes tits up. It can't happen soon enough.

I still wonder, if you have 8 Bitcoin can you exchange them for 1 Bytecoin?

That part is somewhat legitimate, something like “do calculations for the network, and the system gives you some money as reward”. I’m not sure I’d call cryptomoney “scam”. I’d definitely call NFTs that, though.

In the end, it’s not that different than using World of Warcraft gold as money: it has worth, because there are people who believe that it does, and are willing to give you stuff for it.

…and the only possible way you can persuade me to use Shitcoin is when I can withdraw such in the form of notes - just like the £5, £10 & £20 ones - from a cash machine and spend them at a shop.

You could readily replace "convert some other form of property into Bitcoin" with any random phrase, such as "stick a turnip up your ass," and be just as right.
