I directly cited the dissolution decree of the organisation, as I didn’t fing much sources, whether in French of English, about IOIC, whether in France or in the USA. From what I could learn about them, they looks like a Black Hebrew group.
An article stated that the group, present in France since 2020, is present mainly in Val-d’Oise while attempting to spread in Guadeloupe (although the church has been banned, I’ve no illusions that the followers will disperse, especially with Internet making it easier)
As there’s length limits on the quotes, I couldn’t put some informations present in the decree:
• IUIC leadership, who wears paramilitary uniforms and are called "officers," "captains," or even "soldiers," said, among other things, that "I want to march in the army of God. If I have to die, I might as well die serving the Lord" or even "My sons and I are going to wage war against them. We will stand up for them"
• IUIC leaders said, about their “oppressors” (i.e. other races), that "white people, you will be crushed in front of us. The French, the Canadians, the Americans, the Spanish, the Portuguese, you will be crushed in front of the children of Israel whom you have oppressed for 500 years", "Christianity is of the devil and leads to death" and "the fate of Christians will be more terrible than that of the Mohammedans […] Praise the Lord. This is what will happen"
• IUIC called to exterminate its enemies, stating that "It is not salvation if your oppressor is there too, there is no place for your enemies in the kingdom. We must accept the salvation of the righteous and the destruction of our enemies!" and "the governments of the whole world must be demolished so that the Kingdom of God is established on earth FOREVER!!!!"
• IUIC opposes miscegenation, stating that those engaging in mixed-race relationships shall be "kill it with their words", the leader even saying "They're starting to tell us we're racist. Yeah, we don't want to mix, we don't want to"
• IUIC said about Islam that "Our mothers, our sisters, how they raped them, they massacred them, they abused them. And this is still happening today, so that's why God is ravaging them"
• While IUIC fulfilled most of the conditions for a ban, the decree notes that the group was expanding, aimed its propaganda to the youth, even advocating corporal punishmnt, and that its street preaching often caused affray due to the violent methods used. I remember reading, in June 2024, in an article about the dissolution of far-right and Islamist groups, that th government was studying th dissolution of other far-right groups and a church, so they pondered about the question since more than one year.
Now, will this group recede? As I noted earlier, they can survive thanks to Internet (they use Facebook and Youtube for their propaganda) and can also create other groups. Morever, this ban could be used by them as to claim that they’re of persecuted (indeed, from Google search, I’ve found comments by IUIC members describing France as cursed for banning this church) and could unwittingly provide them with undeserved publicity. But yes, we’ve enough hate-filled groups in France without needing to import additional ones.
