Maybe I should make a prediction: don't be surprised if there eventually are trolling campaigns of miracle claims. It wasn't on the web back then, but they were doing it for their imperialist and colonialist campaigns when founding new churches, etc. And of course for business, like relic-souvenirs tourism.
