Women In Universities Show Why Women In Universities Are Not A Good Thing
Actually, no one should be in a university today, male or female! They are institutions of Marxism [1]. But I digress.
“Dutton maintained that, as women take over universities, they make universities more female — more focused on rule-following, everyone getting along, and not causing offence. This drives geniuses out of universities, meaning females undermine a key element of universities: the unemotional pursuit of truth.”

Here’s an example? An example of what ? The link he cited is an article about a woman who got a PhD in philosophy at MSU and accepted a position as an assistant professor at another college. It makes no mention of required “Marxist literature,” or any other sort of literature, for that matter.
Congratulations, you successfully showed that colleges teach philosophy…
HOW TERRIBLE! Would you prefer that there was a huge biff outside the uni bar, every night? You probably would, but that’s not a good learning environment.
I had to study Marx at university, for Sociology, but that was for a male lecturer.
They are institutions of Marxism [1]
[1] The ideology that says
A) Private wealth above ‘sitcom version of middle class’ level is to be illegal. No millionaires or billionaires or beyond.
B) Everyone are to be legally required to be fans of the Marx Brothers.

Assuming that these are actually Marxist - they certainly do not sound like economic textbooks to me:
Being required to read a book does NOT mean that you are to accept everything the book says. Indeed, being critical towards sources is very important in academia. And what field of study is he even talking about, anyways?
Do these people have such a high opinion of the persuasiveness of Marxism and/or so little confidence in the robustness of their worldview that, once you read some Marxist writings, you become a brainwashed hardcore Communist? Do they think that Marxism is some kind of memetic cogitohazard SCP or the sinister corruption of the Ruinous Powers of Chaos or something?
Also, as @TheKingOfRhye pointed out: The article this links to has nothing to do with what he says it’s an example for.

I'm trying to find the downsides in this, OP.
major universities in America often require, yes, require students to read Marxist literature
And this is a bad thing... how ?
But I digress
Well, when it comes to things that are higher than you: as in Education, that's all you can do, Soak Rates.
Leave universities to those who don't . Because - unlike you - as emphasised by @TheKingOfRhye who clearly is educated, they don't quote mine.
OMG! Some universities sometimes make you read to understand what Marxism is and isn't!
Which means yabbering internet idiots SAYING what Marxism is will look foolish to those who know better.
No wonder Snow Crates doesn't like that. All those people knowing how full of shit he is....
I don’t think college teachers ask their students to read books so that they adhere to the ideas contained. For exemple, cursus in compared religions ask their students to read plenty religious books from several religions, and I don’t think they aim to simultaneously convert their students to Hinduism, Greek Paganism and Islam.
“EVERYTHING I HATE IS MARXISM, EVEN IF IT HAS ZILCH TO DO WITH MARXISM, KARL MARX, DAS KAPITAL OR ANYTHING REMOTELY RELATED TO ACTUAL COMMUNISM!”
These people's morbid obsession with Marxism becomes easier to understand when one considers the following passage from one of their scriptures, i.e., Mein Kampf :
The Jewish doctrine of Marxism repudiates the aristocratic principle of Nature and substitutes for it the eternal privilege of force and energy, numerical mass and its dead weight. Thus it denies the individual worth of the human personality, impugns the teaching that nationhood and race have a primary significance, and by doing this it takes away the very foundations of human existence and human civilization. If the Marxist teaching were to be accepted as the foundation of the life of the universe, it would lead to the disappearance of all order that is conceivable to the human mind. And thus the adoption of such a law would provoke chaos in the structure of the greatest organism that we know, with the result that the inhabitants of this earthly planet would finally disappear.
Should the Jew, with the aid of his Marxist creed, triumph over the people of this world, his Crown will be the funeral wreath of mankind, and this planet will once again follow its orbit through ether, without any human life on its surface, as it did millions of years ago.
There you go. To their mind, Marxism is not merely a school of economics, sociology, or politics: it’s the mother of all Jewish ideological plagues, which would end not only human civilization, but humanity itself. (And let's not forget the indispensable role that the MARXIST Soviet Union played in bringing about the downfall of the Third Reich.) No wonder they fear and hate it so.
Other comments have exposed the Marxist demonization.
Why would women take over, rather than rightfully participate? Because you're a dumb enough male to also promote that all males should desert education, projecting that it'll become a female enterprise? Because you're putting up a straw man of education and knowledge as "non male"? Do you realize that this reveals your own insecurity? Also, while boys may very well not mature at the same speed as girls at all ages, it's not a reason to not be educated. It also shouldn't matter anymore for university, only primary school. The "women are for following rules" is a patriarch's argument. But yes, manipulative dictators have a hard time to convince the educated of their reverse-reality bullshit. The educated also understand that when they say "civilization" or "country", they mean their own regime, their main concern. That when they say "natural order", they mean their artifical imposed order and power justifications. That when they whine about "them" and destruction, it's to hypocritically deny their own intentions and suck your livelyhood. Good.
Dolt.
