There’s this idea in certain conservative spaces that most liberal cities are some kind of dystopian crimescape, and liberal politics and/or culture are to blame. Because if it’s not true, then their worldview has a serious need of being rebuilt almost from the ground up. That’s one of the hardest things you can do, so nope, must be crimescape. It “helps” that the kind of people who would believe that aren’t generally the sort to travel, and that Fox News hints at such occasionally.

Is this person's mentality so unwaveringly centered around being an eternally aggressive unrestrained boor that expects everyone to accommodate her and has never been rebuffed to the point she genuinely thinks somebody stopping her and opening with the word "please" is the worst thing a human could be subjected to beyond even random violence?

Or is this just dishonest and/or stupid to a level that would give a bloodbag pause?

Bennett is yet again full of shit: the only penalties for not wearing a mask is a fine and, if the shopowner want to protect his patrons, being removed from premises.

By the way, I live in a conservative city/county (voted 60% for Trump in 2020 anyway), and I haven’t seen anyone making a stink about wearing a mask in public places.
