Creativity is all about exploring new ideas. Conservativism looks to the past for direction and validation. And creativity is often chaotic, which is anathema to control-freak conservatives.

I noticed a long time ago that Republicans don’t seem to have any original insults. We spent eight years calling George W Bush an idiot because he said dumb things and called out the power grabs of his administration’s assertion of “unitary executive powers”, so naturally Republicans tried to call Obama an idiot who wanted to be a dictator. We called Trump a sleazy, corrupt, lazy, senile fascist asshole because he is, the only things they could think of to call Biden were corrupt, lazy, senile, and a wanna be dictator.
And they’re already trying to tar Kamala Harris as sleazy, corrupt, fascist, ect because they can’t come up with any insults that we didn’t call them first and far more appropriately.
I mean, hell, Trump’s so mentally simple he only has a limited repertoire of childish insults he uses over and over again “Crooked” “Sleepy” “Nasty” etc.

My grandmother lived in Colorado Springs. We used to have pass by Focus on the Family every time we went to her house. That garbage place has its own exit off the highway.
