…I’m confused. I mean, more than usual when it comes to Trump’s inane ramblings. Is he talking about flatulence here? Because for the love of all that is sane and rational I genuinely don’t see how eating bacon has anything to do with the weather.

Huh. He's got a good point. Without constant wind or sunshine, green energy generators are worthless. Oh, if only we had the technology to store electricity in vast quantities. Perhaps some sort of ‘battery’, or a ‘capacitor,’ if you will.
Alas, such knowledge is but a mad pipe dream, belonging only to the realms of the gods and the lunatics.

Every time Trump starts talking about wind and solar energy, he proves he has no idea how energy actually works. It’s ALWAYS “wind doesn’t work when the wind isn’t blowing!” and “solar doesn’t work when the sun isn’t out!”; the concept of a battery seems to be beyond his understanding.
Up to a certain decision by someone slightly older, I used to refer to you as Donald Fart: due to what the term ‘Trump’ means here in Britain.
Then you wonder why it’s not only yours truly who refers to you as Don Old Fart…?!

This was caused by their horrible energy. Wind. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a slight correlation here. People are very slowly becoming not just environmentally conscious, but also more willing to embrace small personal lifestyle changes. Among other things, that means less meat. The proliferation of wind and solar might have helped prime that, and greedflation might also have tipped some people to embrace such things a bit faster than they would have otherwise. Less bacon would be one of many results. This is pure speculation on my part, though.

While it’s true that extracting energy from wind does slow the wind down slightly, that doesn’t appear to cause any noticeable environmental issues so far. Oh, wait, you meant large-scale energy-dense batteries don’t really exist? That’s only slightly less stupid than windmill cancer.
