We might actually pull through this if we stop chasing our tails talking about “gender” this & “gender” that & instead put our eyes & voices to the real issues at hand:
*Authoritarianism
*Compelled speech
*Censorship
*The violation of the 1st Amendment
*The rapid & extreme forced changes to society, language, & law which obliterate our species organization around our sexual dimorphism
*The vast & rapid rise in clinics that medically assault children’s healthy sex
*The erasure of women from language, law, & society
Raise your voices. The hour is late.

“obliterate our species organization around our sexual dimorphism”
Yes. That is the point. The point is that that organization or system (what you might call the “patriarchy”) doesn’t serve anyone any good, and thus it has to be tossed out.
That’s what trans people want: to make gender less of a straitjacket.
“*Authoritarianism

Yes, because black people want to be called ‘black’ instead of ‘darkies’ or ‘Jigaboo’ or ‘N****r’, your speech is compelled by authoritarian, unconstitutional censorship.
Except you’re not censored, are you? You can use any word you want, but there will be consequences.
And for the same reason, calling a woman ‘man’ gets you some of them consequences. And the issue is the same, you get butthurt by the very idea that someone might be offended if you use certain language that YOU feel is your fucking rightto self expression.
the real issues at hand:
Authorities denying you of your right to persecute those not exactly like you
Hate Speech laws
Being banned from social media/sites
Freedom of Speech does not mean Freedom from Consequences
Only your opinions being obliterated
The only things all cut up are those who feel the way you do: sarcastically
In English: via the basis of the US - the Constitution - Kamala Harris is but one heartbeat away from being the most powerful woman on the planet
I don’t need to raise my voice to say this: you’re a bigot, Jennifer Blech .
…and a vile example of one, at that.
our species organization around our sexual dimorphism
Because if a person's gender doesn't determine absolutely everything about them, what good is gender to begin with?
“which obliterate our species organization around our sexual dimorphism”
Yo shouldn’t be organizing around it in the first place. It’s an oversimplification and biologically does not fucking work for quite some people. Yeah, it’s the actual biological reality kicking your dumb bitch asses here and it’s hilarious how pissy it makes you.
“clinics that medically assault children’s healthy sex”
Oh, hi there, malicious blood libel.
“The erasure of women from language, law, & society”
Star Trek II, Wrath of Khan, came out in 1982, IIRC. One small detail in the movie was that there are a lot of different species in the Federation, and thus in Starfleet. Not all of them would be clearly or permanently divisible into male and female. So rather than deal with a list of ‘sir, ma’am, miss, hiss, hemm, and ace’ or the like, they just used one honorific to address an officer: “Mister.” Kirstie Alley is called Mister a few times.
No one seemed outraged by the ‘erasure of women from language’ back then in the Dark Ages. Mostly because while hte miniskirts were gone, there was no effort to actually erase women from the ship.
Also, women wanting to BE women is kinda the opposite of erasing the term. You’re just upset that you’re not the only person allowed to decide who is and isn’t qualified for the term.

Yep, that’s right. They have a right to self expression, and they’re the only ones who have that right. Anyone who expresses themselves differently or challenges people like Jenny Blech are somehow censoring her…

Thanks for highlighting that quote, it really brought something home to me.
Not only are people like Miss Blech here extremely transphobic and misogynistic, they are also extremely culturally biased.
*The rapid & extreme forced changes to society, language, & law which obliterate our species organization around our sexual dimorphism
Our societal organization does not equal species organization. There have been many different forms of human society, most of which were destroyed by European, Chinese, and Turkish imperialism, with highly different forms of societal organization. There are about as many different views of gender as there are societies. This has nothing to do with biology, but is entirely about culture and specifically about conformity, and people like Blech either don’t know there are other ways or have decided that ours is the ‘right’ way. I’d say that she’s in the latter camp, but it’s entirely possible that she’s lacking insight and imagination and just can’t conceive that there are other ways of living.
Our culture is something created by us, and our views on gender are part of our culture. It’s not biology. TERFs and other homophobes/transphobes are either unwilling or unable to understand that.
Confused?
