As a research methodologist the lack of defining terms spins my head..we are asking people for their views on an undefined, fluid and subjective group that can’t even define itself!

To the research methodologist: It’s difficult to define “trans”ness because it is a phenomenon that hasn’t been studied very well so far. What we do know (and that’s were the “trans” part comes in) is that transpeople have an inborn lack of congruence between their chromosomal and hormonal biological sex at birth and the sex their brains develops towards (though it might be even more complicated than that), leading to a further lack of congruence when it comes to their sex and their gender later on. It’s difficult to fully define precisely because biology is messy, but there are clear differences to for example intersex people (who simply express phenotypical developments of both sexes) and nonbinary gendered, agendered and genderqueer people (which are different gender expressions and are not at all bound by biological sex). You can be all three of these things because they do not directly contradict each other from what I can tell. As I said, it’s messy, but that’s nature for you.
To the other person: Shove your conspiratorial and frankly both transphobic and misandrist nonsense right up your own ass, you hateful prick. You are no better than the people calling all homosexuals “groomers”. You have no evidence for your goddamn “AGP fetish” theory, but you love spouting it, just because it portrays all transpeople as sexual predators. When they are in fact the group with the highest amount of sexual abuse directed towards them. You are the problem, not transpeople, who VERY MUCH do exist.
