“You have to be the highest intellect and psychologically superior people were allowed to qualify for air traffic controllers,” he said, before quoting articles regarding the Federal Aviation Administration’s DEI push before he took office.
“Brilliant people have to be in those positions,” the president said, later saying diversity hiring “could have been” linked to the crash. Earlier, he said officials weren’t sure what led to the collision, in which 67 people died.
Trump also placed blame on his predecessors: “I put safety first. Obama, Biden and the Democrats put policy first and they put politics at a level that nobody’s ever seen.”

I put safety first
Sir Keir Starmer & King Charles III’s choice of plane to travel on. Considering Boeing’s safety record, the very good reason why Britain’s head of state/monarch flies in one made by Airbus.
Think on that next time you’re in Trump Farce One, Don Old Fart.
“And clearly,” Herr Drumpfenfuhrer continued, in a frequency too low for his sycophants to hear but which was plain as day to everyone else, “non-whites and homos could never be smart enough to tell the airplanes not to crash into each other! Nope, and that is why I will make sure all the really important government jobs go to straight white people! Why, Elmo even has some great ideas for putting all those minorities into their own towns where they can live happily without us! I think he called them ‘bantas,’ or ‘bathtubs,’ I dunno, I was too busy, thinking of boobies and treason at the time.”
Typical opportunistic disinformation scapegoating innocents for every event and exposing one's own lunacy.
Apparently any such program would have been established during Trump's first term and made clear that competency was required, that a disability did not change that. In Trump's little sick head, control towers are full of partying limbless black women midgets who do "REEEEEEE", a privileged elite installed by a great conspiracy. Take your meds, sir.

"I put safety first"
What about the safety of the Capitol staff when you ordered an insurrection? The safety to society when pardoning violent criminals and glorifying Nazis? The safety of those you aim to persecute and massively deport? The mishandling of hundreds of stolen secret documents is also for safety? The corruption and sabotage of the CDC, that's safety first too?
Donald Trump says he will be meeting with some of the families of the victims from the DC collision, but did not specify when.
Merits to be "pied" by a family for throwing a hypocritical show weaponizing their relative's death...

And compromise the integrity and impartiality of the investigation. The crash was almost certainly not caused by diversity initiatives, there are probably multiple points of failure. But now that he’s made this partisan with his racist and ableist fog horns it will be a problem when the board ignores DEI completely. But will they be able to do that without partisan interference? I doubt that this White House will allow that. I fear either way the report will become more partisan and people less likely to believe it. That will only further serve to weaken an important piece of our transportation system that keeps air travelers safe.
Trump’s being like Pat Robertson saying this about 9/11?
“God will not be mocked. And when we destroy 40 million little innocent babies, we make God mad. I really believe that the pagans and the abortionists and the feminists and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People for the American Way, all of them who have tried to secularize America, I point the finger in their face and say, ‘You helped this happen.’”
Intelligence only goes so far, anyway. Day-to-day, there’s matters of stress and enervation, which would have been exacerbated by the suddenly lower supply of air traffic controllers. Who’d be ready to take the place of steadily more tired controllers? In this case, no one.
Confused?
