The sheer conviction those guys have of women being completely harmless and not a threat at all to them, only there to be disrespected by them, harassed, and laughed at, is honestly comical if you look at some of the data about how the world really works. If they really are as disrespectful toward women IRL as they imply, they are just asking for some serious trouble, and they don’t even realize it. I’ve already mentioned this in a comment a few months ago, but one of the most interesting studies about sexual assault I’ve ever read was one in which, after studying the gender differences in the usage of various tactics to rape someone, found that women were more likely than men (4% vs 3%) to use physical force to force sex with someone.
Now, I have not been able to find that study again, but, quite interestingly, there is actually a significant amount of research implying that there are little, if any, gender differences in the usage of physical force and various other techniques to force sex from someone. This study of over ten thousand high school students, for example, found no statistically significant difference in the reported rate of having been physically forced to have sex. This study of college students in 10 EU countries found that in half of them (Cyprus, Greece, Lithuania, Poland and Portugal) more men than women reported having been forced to have sex via physical force. This study of college students in Poland found that more women than men (6% vs 4%) reported perpetrating “severe” sexual coercion, which the researchers noted technically fit the legal definition of rape. And so on.
Statistically speaking, any random incel is likely to every day pass by multiple women who did much more horrific things than he can ever hope to do, and then those same guys start to tell each other that women are completely harmless and defenceless, and encouraging each other to treat any random woman they meet on the street like a verbal (At least.) punching bag, in a blind belief that it can never backfire on them. Those guys are setting themselves up to lose their v-cards in the worst possible way, and they are completely oblivious to it. Incredible.
