Reminds me of the Gulf War, when the appropriate response was considered to be to take revenge on 20 dead people… by killing many thousands of live people… who weren’t even from the right country. The Venn Diagram of people cheerleading this and the “pro-life” fanatics was not quite a circle, but close.
