People to blame for the Rittenhouse shooting: -The criminals who attacked him -The media who fueled the riots with lies and propaganda -The government officials who surrendered Kenosha to the mob -Jacob Blake

Aren’t gun supporters always going on about how it’s not the gun that’s the problem but the shooter? Kyle put himself into the dangerous situation, not anyone else. He didn’t live there and he didn’t stay at his best friends’ house when he did get there.
Don’t get me started on the whole militia bs.
The main issues I have with the Rittenhouse case are
1. Illegally purchasing a firearm.
2. Crossing state lines with said firearm.
3. Not turning himself in after the first shooting.
4. The police not even stopping him for questioning when dozens of people claim he shot someone.
Now, even with an illegal firearm, if a group of people are chasing you and someone fires a shot... yeah. Defending yourself is ok. And correct me if I'm wrong, but Rosenbaum seemed to be the most "fair" instance of self defense. He was actively leading people and pursuing a retreating person. The main reason, it seems is that Rosenbaum had set a dumpster on fire and Rittenhouse, among others, had put it out. And then Rosenbaum chased Rittenhouse, led others to chase him, throwing things at him, finally shooting a gun into the air to stop Rittenhouse from fleeing.
The third was the least self defense, with Grosskreutz approaching Rittenhouse as an active shooter and aiming to disarm him and presumably turn him to the police. He is very lucky that he wasn't just shot, what with that "good guy with a gun taking out bad guys" mentality some people have.
If he merely kept shooting at criminals who had shot him then it would be self-defense.
And no minor has any business roaming the streets while armed dring night-time. I hope his mother and the guy who sold him his weapons would have had self-reflection about this.
Confused?
