I hope people understand now that we do not have a healthcare industry in America—we have a federalized drug cartel. Everything Pablo Escobar and El Chapo sought to accomplish within South America has been realized in the United States.

So you hate Big Pharma, Candarse? Consider that next time you get your next dose of Ivermectin from the health food shop: made on the premises, of course.
Oh, wait...!

Given the date on the tweet, this is probably a knee-jerk reaction to the FDA banning the use of regeneron (the monoclonal antibodies treatment) on covid cases known or believed to be caused by the Omicron variant. Regeneron is somewhat effective on the deadlier Delta variant, which is still ravaging certain conservative states, but is much less so against Omicron, and there isn’t enough of it being produced to go around. There’s been this reaction that regeneron is a miracle cure which is being banned in all cases, just like ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, for sinister reasons. I’m guessing Candy here thinks the sinister reasons are economic?
Why is there being a cartel instead of a proper health system a bad thing to a GOPnik, though? I mean, they hate healthcare and are all for uncontrolled runaway capitalism!

I’m surprised, because that implies she’s considering an actually somewhat useful medicine to be a miracle cure. Usually, it’s either completely useless (dewormer), or not even medicine (actual piss).

Yeah, but remember, when Trump got covid, he was singing regeneron's praises quite a bit, claiming it saved his life.
Sure, the folks behind the promotion of OxyContin looks like the only difference between themselves and cdrug cartels is their legal status, along with Martin Shkreli, but your comparition is very excessive.
We don't see pharmaceutical sales persons murdering each other over territory, so no, Candace, you're wrong again.
Confused?
