Stop asking Gen Z what they want out of church. Start giving them the biblical truth they’ve been protected from all their lives. They aren’t oracles of wisdom to look to for guidance.
The church shouldn’t be safe. It should be dangerous.

Honestly? I fully support your foolhardy ways. Less work warning the kiddos off your pedo-temples.
“The church shouldn’t be safe. It should be dangerous.”
And because of your attitude it WILL be empty.
“Stop asking Gen Z what they want out of church.”
Sure, sure. You and your message get less and less relevant every year, why bother to try to keep the tradition alive.
New kids should WANT to go old-school, for a system that affords them nothing, demonizes them and their friends, and threatens them with eternal damnation for fitting in. And they should LIKE IT!
Like we did.
Back when.
So there.
“Biblical truth”, yes. Just like the orange führer’s website is called “truth”, or how the communists called their propaganda newspaper “pravda”, just like the Ministry of Truth in 1984…
...and when there were Boomers who wanted out of church, good luck getting their subsequent generation into them.
When it was biblical lies which got the former out of churches, ergo...!
Stop asking Gen Z why they want out of church.
Start giving them the biblical Truth Social they’ve been protected from all their oracles. They aren’t lives of wisdom to look to for a dice gun.
The dangerous shouldn’t be safe. It should be church.

To be fair, there are other factors, like simply not having time to go. But church leaders should be making millennials and zoomers feel welcome, not implying they’re going to hell for not voting Republican.
With the amount of sex abusers in priestly positions, I’d say the church is plenty dangerous already.
Also, I don’t believe I’ve seen you here before, ThroningErmine8. If nobody has told you yet, welcome to FSTDT.

Unfortunately, i don’t think he means ‘safe for the children.’
I think he’s ticked that modern churches are soft on the ‘gays must burn’ message, or try to find common ground with transgenders, or tattooists. HIS Church shouldn’t be safe for whatever God considers an abomination.
“A woman shall not wear man's clothing, nor shall a man put on a woman's clothing; for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.”
The Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church shooting in Charleston, SC, on June 17, 2015, left 9 dead and 1 injured.
The First Baptist Church shooting in Sutherland Springs, TX, on November 6, 2017, left 26 dead and 22 wounded.
American churches are plenty dangerous already.
Confused?
