Correlations doesn’t imply causation. Unless you can prove some kind of connection, all you did was demonstrate that that some gay men were molested when they were younger.

I was sexually abused as a minor* and I’m straight. It did make me homophobic. I wanted to kill all gays, but I got over it.

I could explain that pederasts (paedophiles who prefer boys) try to find gay boys so that the boy thinks “This is how it’s supposed to be”. But the quotee’s not going to read that, and if he did he wouldn’t take any notice. It doesn’t fit his world-view.

Well, you see, since most gay people who have psychological disorders were abused as children, and people who were abused as children have psychological disorders, and since not having two parents in their life is the only real form of child abuse… it logically¹ follows that gayness is a psychological disorder caused by not having their biological mother and father raise them like God and nature intended. Any exceptions are just satanic perverts. Cheqqmayte, libzowned!
