As much as I hate Trump, I think a Trump dictatorship would be the best possible outcome for the elections. This would put Trump in a position to mercilessly crush the Left. And this could pave the way for a peaceful splitting up of America when Trump steps down.

The likelihood of this happening is pretty much nil, as much as I have issues with our current military, they still going to defend the fucking constitution overwhelmingly and will kick him out of office the second he tries to do this, be it before the election or after it, especially if the November election had him lose to Joe Biden so overwhelmingly it's near impossible to deny he won the election and Trump, like manchild that he is, will bitch and scream about how it was rigged and stolen and decides to effectively ignore the constitution and declare himself president for life only to be kicked out of office within seconds of doing that... And even if I were to entertain that thought that he manage to do just that, as other people pointed out it will lead to a second civil war and very likely military interventions by America's allies per Trump Dictatorship

Don’t fool yourself thinking a dictatorship would remove only your enemies. Dictators, especially the ideological ones, repress more and more people until their partisans themselves end up purged, whether because of minor disagreements or power plays.
And dictators don’t ever think about residning since they love too much power and wealth and have done too much crimes they might have to answer for. Of course they can leave wilfully , if given enough impunity and their ill-gained wealth is protected.
