Also, how about NOT treating your soldiers, your citizens, indeed, anyone at all as expendable, period?

All those Rosie the Riveters performing not only a vital, but war-winning task on the home front. It's not only your entire 'argument' that's invalid.
If men are required to sign up for the draft in order to have the right to vote, then that’s bullshit and discriminatory. There should be no draft, period. There should be no asterisks for being able to vote other than citizenship.
