We’ve been doing mail-in ballots since the Civil War. They provide people with limited access to polling places a way to exercise their constitutional rights , including the people who will vote for you , dumbfuck.

Honestly, at this point I don’t even know what to think anymore. Am I scared? Sure, but said fear is moving into apathy by now as it’s not helping anything or anyone. And if Trump wins again, then, well, I think I’ll just have to lose faith in humanity instead.
I’d love to say the US deserves the Caligula they elected, but I sadly know there are still sane Americans out there. As few as they may be.

And who was it that aggressively attacked probes into foreign interference and ways to stop it again? And also openly invited interference? And solicited it directly with extortion? And whose lawyers was it again that actually argued that it’s perfectly legal to rig an election at whose impeachment? And who might I ask basically legitimized cheating in elections because the body meant to keep them in check are scared to cast a vote freely where they can be seen and marked for retaliation?
Voting by mail has been an American right since before you were brought crying and screaming into this world. It is the sole means that soldiers on active deployment may exercise the right they are ostensibly fighting and laying their lives down for. It is also much harder to commit voter fraud than you’re trying to fool people into believing, but since you couldn’t win over a single vote if you paid some poor bastard a million dollars for it all you know how to do is lie to keep people from their rights. You’re nothing but a two faced piece of shit trying to stop people from voting safely and setting up an excuse ahead of time to just declare the whole thing invalid and try to hunker down in the office you never deserved in the first place. And I hope to God that’s the day the crying and screaming that you’ve barely paused since your over-privileged birth finally ends.

I don’t think it counts as an invasion if America was the one that declared war on us first. Also technically that was a counter-offensive by the British who didn’t actually expect us to hold out against America’s four-to-one numbers advantage, superior firepower, and reckless disregard for what passed for the rules of the battlefield at the time. They thought, as Madison did, that the conflict would just be “a matter of marching.” Boy, were they surprised when their ships landed to find we’d held our own pretty well. The infusion of British troops and arms brought our firepower and experienced military officers up a few notches and the numbers problem scaled back to about a 2:1 difference after America done fucked up and assassinated Sitting Bull who saw no reason to join the white man’s war and the British in perhaps one of their most self-aware moments of the century thought it best to argue in favour of such neutrality instead of trying to convince people they’d screwed over pretty badly and had a habit of breaking promises with to actually put their lives on the line for either side who’d probably go right back to being dicks. But hey, the argument of whether or not it really counts as the first time if we’ve has some experience is not for me judge. We just do what we gotta do. I’ve got a pack of matches and no other plans if it does come down to that, and maybe I’ll finally get on that dream if-I-had-a-billion-dollars project I’ve been toying with.

Real Americans are going to take this country back in November and we will be willing to jump any voting suppression hurdle to do so!
Look at that recent election in Wisconsin! People were not gonna let Covid get in the way and they voted and a Democrat still won!
The GOP will make it harder but we can find a way to overcome, even if it means carpooling and supplying refreshments to those in long lines.
Many states are now embracing Mail-In voting and many states have Early Voting.

I remember that last time you called me chicken little things went even more horribly wrong than I was afraid they would. Like the difference between pointing out a precariously perched boulder on a cliff and some madman trying to tip it over which I thought I was doing to suddenly realizing that boulder has been eclipsed by a shower of continent sized meteors. Please don’t jinx it by saying it “can’t” happen, make contingency plans so it doesn’t even if he tries. Complacency is as dangerous as giving up hope, and hope isn’t much without action.
