For context for anyone who doesn’t want to click on the link, he’s talking about an episode of Sesame Street about racism where Elmo is FaceTiming a family member and asking him why the people protesting outside his apartment are angry. The family member tells him they are angry about people being treated unfairly because of their skin color. At no point in the episode did he blame white people as a whole for racism, yet Carlson took that as an attack on white people. That’s why he came to the conclusion that white children are being indoctrinated to blame themselves for the existence of racism just because they were born white.

Thing is Sesame street has a history of suddenly getting serious and real. When Will Lee the actor who played Mr. Hooper died in real life that was written into Sesame street which used that to teach kids about death.

This opinion is generally held by white supremacists. Seeing as Tucker has proven many, many times that he is one, I’m not surprised he feels that way too.
