Trans rights activists - We're women!
Women - No, you're not. Do as you please but women need their language and their spaces, thank you.

Wow. SO polite, and generous.
Skipping over the bit where the actual response is to insist that transgendered women are rapists in very poor disguises, indulging sexual fetishes not identity issues, and need to die in a fire.
Women need their own... language?
Like, I can understand is some trans hating person doesn't want to call the trans folk in question men or women based on prejudices (understand, not agree with, mind you). But women needing their own language just reads weird to me. It might be the phrasing or other layers I'm not getting. Terminology would make sense for me if they are just talking about the words themselves, but language?
What, are they wanting people to ask Sprechen Sie Deutsch? Parlez-vous français? ¿Hablas español? Do you speak woman?

“Women need their own... language?”
They want the word ‘woman’ to only ever mean ‘born without a penis.’ They want everyone that lives to use THEIR definition of woman, girl, rapist, boy. They think it’s a semantics tactic to allow a transgendered person to use the sex they feel themselves to be.
Transwomen - We're women!
TERFs - No, you're not. Do as you please but women need their language and their spaces, thank you.
Transwomen - Yes, we are and here’s all the medical and neurological basis behind this statement.
TERFs - Fuck off, you perverted male rapists!
Media - Shrugs So it looks like it’s just another political issue, now lets get us some mouthy TERF on the telly and give her all the platform because controversy pays!
There, all fix’d now.
A trans person succeeding in effectively destroying, nay, more than silencing a s(h)ite - the extremely anti-trans Kiwi Farms - that once had the power to silence journalists.
Once.
Be afraid. Be very afraid.
That's what you can do, o OP…!
There is such a thing as in-group language. That’s not a literally a separate language but a collection of terminology which are often difficult for outsiders to understand, but used for the ease of communicating complex ideas which are important to the group… or to reinforce “proper” lines of thinking. It usually includes normal words which are used differently than the general public does. We’ve seen a lot of it here from various toxic groups - for example, incels use words like “Blackpill”, “Mog”, “Maxxing”, and “Stacy”.
If TERFs want to use “woman” to mean “cis woman only” or an even narrower definition, so long as they keep the conversation in-group, there’s not a whole lot we can (or should) do about it. However, this person is essentially claiming that their in-group consists of “all women” by their definition of woman (it doesn’t, you don’t speak for me or most of the women I know) and that the general public should be forced to use their in-group language - if you understood the implications, you wouldn’t want to go there, unless you’re pleading for special language privileges, in which case no TERFy that’s a bad TERFy.
Confused?
