His great voice will be so deeply missed, but his impact will live on forever.

Limbaugh was an awful person and while I usually am not one to celebrate people’s deaths, I have no issue with dancing on that jerk’s grave.
My condolences only goes to his family. Other than that, Rush’s spirit-tush now has taken on a pineapplely aroma… if you get my drift.
Time to clean the Swamp… including Talk-Radio! Unlike what Creativerealms says, we can undo the damage (at least to an extent)!
Time to push for regulations in both business and media and to restore The Fairness Doctrine.
Time to teach critical thinking, civics, empathy, anti-prejudice and coping skills in our schools.
For most normal persons, Rush Limbaugh is among those who helped to make the American political climate worse than when he started his media career. He mocked dying AIDS patients, made apologism for torture and described several violent acts as “false-flags.”
Ppppppfffftttttt. I danced when I read that headline. That wretched sack of shit is finally room temperature & that was only one of the good things that went down on 02⁄17⁄2021. The other one was Pig Vomit’s husk of a failed casino in Atlantic City was finally blown to bits, much to NJ’s delight.
Junkie the Hutt wasted his time bitching about gender neutral bathrooms. Now his gravesite is about to become one. Drink up, folks!
For all those who complain about US politics being overly partisan and divisive, not like the “good ol’ days” (ignoring that things weren’t quite that rosy in reality), you can put a good chunk of the blame for that on Rush. Sadly there are many others fighting to pick up his torch, but at least none of them so far appear to have his charisma.

Most of his demon spawn are relegated to podcasts, which is tricky for many of the old coots that are used to AM radio. It’s also an uphill battle since there are simply less hateful majini to pander to. They certainly still exist but are not being replaced fast enough to sustain the crackpot right wing disinformation machine. Pretty soon they’ll be back to the tried & true method of spreading the word-standing on a soapbox in Times Square with a cardboard sign proclaiming the End is Near.

Yup. The younger generations reject the far-right and among the few that embrace it, there are those who grow out of it. The Alt-Reich goes through young figureheads like the average baby woman goes through disposable diapers.
