I don’t see this mentioned enough, but if you were “vegan” and then started eating animals again, you likely saw veganism as a diet rather than fully embracing the principle. You weren’t vegan-you were plant based. That’s why I hate the term “ex-vegan” because they were never vegan to begin with. You don’t just quit veganism, just like you wouldn’t quit believing in human rights. If you stop, it means you never fully believed in it in the first place.
