I don't know how long you have lived on this earth but the word gay has always meant happy until the homosexuals hijacked it and made a lie out of it.
If you want to know the truth with homosexuals all you have to do is take the opposite position and that is the truth. I have spoken to enough homosexuals, read about enough homosexuals. watched enough homosexuals, and studied enough of the pathology of homosexuals to know one thing they are not and that is gay.

At first I thought he was just blitheringly stupid (which he is), but I see what he’s doing now. He’s refusing to use the word “gay” as in homosexual…that would be giving in to the gay mafia, so he’s ONLY considering the word “gay” to mean “happy”. And not acknowledging it to mean “homosexual”…ever.

You gave a stupid answer, got corrected, called that correction a stupid question even though it was neither stupid nor a question, and then gave an even more blisteringly stupid response. With all your stupid answers I’m guessing the questions are irrelevant and don’t really need asking before you decide to say something stupid.

Not so much as word one of condemnation in the part of the Old Testament concerning David & Jonathan.

And even less condemnation of homosexuals in the entirety of the New Testament: concerning You-Know-Who.

You do realise that the tiny little titbit of Leviticus you base your entire bigoted mindset on never applied to Gentiles.

...are fuh-laming closet-cases, and deeply unhappy. That's not an empty slur either; I've actually met a couple of people who came out later in life who were homophobic when they were younger.

Why do I get the impression that Roger went looking for gay people who were complaining about the very real homophobia that they have to put up with on a regular basis, and kidding himself that that means that all gay people are miserable all the time? And ‘studied’? With an outlook like this I’d be very interested to know what passes for study in his world.

Whit that prissy, whiny attitude, no wonder people talking to you are miserable.

When I educate new colleagues, on how to work in our systems, I often say that “The Stupidest Question is the one you don’t ask.”. I.e. better to ask one too many, than one too few.

How many is “enough homosexuals”? I’ve spoken to quite a few on the Net, and a few IRL, but they are all different, with different looks on life, different amounts of happiness. Some are in loving relationships, others are lonely, some had a “faux straight” relationship when they were young and have kids with the straight then-partner. Almost as if homosexuals are individuals, like heterosexuals are…

Gay didn’t just mean “happy”, it was a special kind of “happy”:

The term was originally used to mean "carefree", "cheerful", or "bright and showy".

Oh, and languages change all the time, at least the living ones do; the ones that people actually use daily.

Even IF homosexual people are always miserable, are you really that surprised? Considering they have to spend their entire life pushed down by the bigotry of stupid buttholes like you, Roger, I can image one would be depressed.

Of course all the gay people you've met have been miserable. They're having to deal with the very same bigotry that's making them miserable to start with.

Buxom used to mean 'obedient.' Sending the manservant out to procure a 'buxom wench' meant one who would undress when told to.
Words change meaning over time. Anyone who can't deal with this fact has no business judging bundles of sticks for being unhappy.

It did mean happy... in the 1600s

In the 1700s, the word got extended to mean “man who sleeps with lots of women” (a “happy” man)

By around the 1920s, it had evolved to mean “women who slept with women”. I don’t remember exactly how that change came about, I’ll look into it.

It was around the 1940s/50s that the word started to mean “men who sleep with men”, and it actually meant anyone who was homosexual for awhile.

So, the word has a lot longer and more complicated (and fun!) history than lots of people (especially homophobes) give it credit for.

Rather than feeling bad for liking buxom women, I guess you and the woman could take turns being buxom, in the old sense. It can be quite fun actually.
