Billboard that reads “unto us a son is given and the government shall be upon his shoulders - Romans 8:17” right next to Trump’s head

First two commandments broken, equating a narcissistic adulterer with someone who healed the sick and helped the poor...
Have fun in your own Hell fundies.
You know, methinks that both Trump and Jesus would be terribly insulted to be compared to each other. That’s how opposite they are. The actual Biblical Jesus would be considered a dirty commie hippie by you right-wingers! And Trump is like the embodiment of all 7 Deadly Sins(*).
I’m no christian myself, but I don’t see how anyone else can call themselves a true Christian if they see Trump (of all people) as the second coming of Christ.
So just admit it, you’re not Christians at all. You’re “Trumpologists” or something…
(*)Let’s see here:
Pride: Trump’s an egotistical narcissist of the highest order. ‘nuff said. And he even has no reason to be prideful, as Trump’s dumb, incompetent, and ugly.
Gluttony: He’s obese and refuses to eat his vegetables, preferring to stuff himself with hamberders and coke.
Lust: Adulterous and he covets his own daughter even.
Wrath: His temper tantrums made him feared in the White House.
Greed: He’s a millionare who cheats countless people out of their money, to the point that he’s overflowing with lawsuits against him.
Sloth: Spend most of his time golfing and goofing around on twitter than actually being president.
Envy: …Yeah, I’ll get back to you on that.
Not to mention he’s dishonest beyond belief, corrupt, dumb, ugly, and emotionally abusive to his family.
That's... that's not even what the verse says. Like in no way shape or form. Here is Romans 8:16-18 just for some context, using KJV cause why not?
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
So, yeah. All those jokes about Christians not reading their Bible are especially true in this case.

Nope. Jesus would be scandalized, but Trump would be pleased.
See, when Trump thinks of the Christ, he's not thinking of healing the sick or teaching morals or touching lepers. He would start calculating how many Christains there are who would HAVE to adore and obey him. Who would have to believe his claims of power and innocence.
And tithe.

Donald Trump is the closest thing to the antichrist I have ever seen
Sir Bobby Charlton eventually got rid of his combover: did absolutely no harm to his image as Chairman of Manchester United, a football team whose nickname is 'The Red Devils'.
Perhaps a clue as to why Donald Fart has that combover, eh...?! [/"The Omen"]
Eh, I wouldn’t consider Trump to be a good candidate for being the Beast. Maybe the Beast’s puppet, to be disposed of when no longer needed? But his more religious followers are definitely akin to the Beast’s Antichrists.
…That would make Vladimir Putin the Beast, though.

You know, normally I’d agree with you. Trump is too transparent in his evil and too dumb and not charismatic enough to be a proper incarnation of evil… Except for the fact that despite all that, Trump still has thousands of mindless followers who would quite literally jump into hell on his command, all under the delusion that he is the Messiah.
@shy #99953
IMHO, he IS Antichrist (really a collective and a collection of metaphorical creatures like The Beast & False Prophet, The Whore of Babylon, etc.).
@Zinnia #99971
I always saw those things as symbols. The Antichrist isn’t a single person and The Beast, False Prophet and Babylon The Great represent different aspects of a corrupt world system (Political, Religious and Economic, respectively).
I think Revelation is metaphorical, but with many valid interpretations…
* A indictment of the Roman Empire.
* A description of a period of world corruption.
* An esoteric treatise on human enlightenment (according to Edgar Cayce).
… However, the fundie interpretation is bogus.
Looks like Columbia in Bioshock: Infinite where they made their prophet Anthony Zale Comstock their prophet, adherating to his gospel of hatred, exploitation and racial stratification. Or the various polities where they worshipped their rulers.
And, in the light of this billboard, this article is even more relevant than any other day.
Confused?
