We should applaud this woman for her cleverness in researching her online dates before meeting them, but even such diligence can never overcome the inherent toxicity of online dating (i.e., everybody involved is a loser). So her research revealed the attempted deceit, but because she is “open-minded” she decided to accept the date anyway without telling this transgender person that she knew “she” was actually a he.

The “trap” was trapped, so to speak.

So here is this “extremely well-passing” transgender person, chasing lesbians online without revealing his/“her” secret, evidently hoping to succeed in this deliberate deception, without realizing that his/“her” profile photo can be used to search his/“her” online history — loser!

You know how much time I devote to thinking about women dating transgender women? Precisely none, as I don’t see how it’s important to me in any possible way.

So, a lesbian in the dating pool is cool with giving a trans partner prospect a shot. This ruffles your feathers for some reason, it rustles your jimbos, so to speak.

This sort of “checks” should be illegal btw. and considered slander when asshats like our OP use them to out a person, just as a note on the side.

ps. Judge it how you will but when we were still dating I didn’t instantly disclose myself to my husband, took me around half a year to build the courage to talk about it with him. When he responded that it doesn’t matter to him and that he still very much loves me, it was the breakthrough day in my entire life. Over a decade later we’re still together and judging by the last week of forced covid home stay, we’re as close and giddy together, as we ever been. The above is why you will never hear me talk shit about “disclosing” yourself as some a priori ritual to any potential mate. I believe being trans is a delicate and often sex-irrelevant status that is yours to announce or keep depending on the level of trust and safety between you and the person you happen to fuck. Obviously for lifelong mating it’s best to not keep it a secret but hows and whens should be always left to you.

Sadly, the incident he refers to is from a TERF rant where a lesbian who decided to give a trans woman a chance at a date went on to use the bad experience she had on her date as the reason to completely reject the idea of accepting trans women, even a little bit, ever again. It seems pretty clear based on the way she talked she didn't really think trans women were women to begin with, and I also think she poisoned her own perception of the date by coming into it thinking her date wasn't really a real woman.

The fact that this person will not ever have a vagina is a dealbreaker. I like vaginas. I have fought very, very hard to be at a point in my life when I can fully express my love for vaginas. Every part of them, which includes things that cannot be imitated by surgery. Am I really a bigot for feeling this way? I feel like this is basically just saying that homosexual women are bigots for being homosexual. (Which, honesty, seems to be an incredibly common sentiment these days, even in “lesbian” communities.)

And BTW, random TERF, the answer is yes, you are a bigot for feeling that way.

Seems to me the losers in this situation are the ones who judge a person for what body parts they may or may not have.

So, the only time he express support for a lesbian’s sexual authonomy is to bash trans? Color me surprised.
