CRT is the history that is 'doomed to fail' because it's totally Afro-Centric, assuming that all of history should revolve around the experiences of a few Black individuals in the past. It is divisive, and thus inappropriate for K1-12 grades.

Well, in a strict sense CRT is inappropriate for K1-12. CRT is a complex college level concept for evaluating racism. At the same time, given the US’s history of slavery and racism any honest history will be divisive.
"because it's totally Afro-Centric, assuming that all of history should revolve around the experiences of a few Black individuals in the past.”
Would you prefer slavery be taught from the white man's view? Name the ships, crews,t h eir owners?
The legislators?
The voters?
The people pouring coffee on other people for daring to sit at the counters?
People throwing things at school kids?
The Tulsa Massacre? Rather than list the destruction, loss of life, concentrate on the organizers feeling bitter that them darkness was getting affluent?
Or armh pilots getting medals for shooting down half the planes a Tuskegee airmen did?
You want K-12 level history courses to be a celebration of straight, white, able, neurotypical, cisgender, Christian men and an erasure of everything else. You want kids to learn a fantasy that will make the white, able, straight, cis, neurotypical, Christian kids from “traditional” families feel good while putting down everyone else. You want to erase anything bad that those like you have done in the past and also anything good those who aren’t like you have done in the past. If you didn’t have to talk about slavery, you wouldn’t mention it at all or you’d find a way to celebrate it (“it civilized black people and gave them Christianity, and it was better than being savages on the dark continent!!”). If you didn’t have to talk about the Holocaust you’d avoid it or find a way to celebrate it (“Hitler fixed inflation and got rid of evil communists!!”).
You don’t want to have to own up to the bad things in the past because you don’t really want to change the way you behave now. You want to continue to have privilege and be racist and sexist and homophobic and transphobic and ableist because you like it and you think it’s “the right way to be”. So you don’t want anyone, especially your kids and kids around them, to know there’s anything wrong with it or that there are other ways of being.
Confused?
