By that same logic, it’s silly to want to ban fentanyl, since people can die from overdosing on tylenol.

Thing is, knives are not only far less deadly than firearms, but knives can be tools outside of being weapons. Firearms can ONLY be weapons.

The implication being that Democrats are demanding a ban on guns? Well, I’m definitely a Democrat, and I’ve demanded no such thing. Gun controls, sure…and maybe the average civilian shouldn’t be able to buy a machine gun or something, but that’s hardly “demanding a ban on guns, period, full stop.”

4,000 people drown in this country every year. When are we going to institute water control?
