This is entirely down to a sick desire to control and subjugate a weaker person. A grown man has NOTHING in common with a teenage girl; she lives her life at a completely different frequency, speaks a different language and the most adult of her responsibilities is doing homework.

I don’t even think it’s about an attraction to young girls. If you find a teenage girl who’s lucky enough to look like this:

It’s not about looks. It’s about shoving your ugly face in someone else’s life and making it all about you.

It is true that mixed-race couples occur in advertising features at a much greater frequency than they do in the real world. However, the reason is obvious, and it’s not, as racists will assert, some kind of pandering to the politically correct, or racecucking or whatever it is they’re calling it these days. It’s an attempt to broaden the consumer base, which is what any decent commercial director wants. If you’re going to show two people and you want to appeal to both black people and white people, you may as well make one person black and one person white. Simple as that.

So yes, I have noticed the effect. But it doesn’t have me sniggering or coming out with conspiracy theories or going into a frothing rage.
