“Could you tell a dying child your views.”
Yes. She asked, ‘would you pray for me?’ and i told her no, and why.
Why? Do you think i should be ashamed? Or maybe lie?
“Could you look some one in the face who is dying of hunger and say i think theres no God.”
I would say that I don’t think there are any gods. What’s the choice, though? Stare at them as they continue to starve, saying that food is coming?
Or as the ship sinks, with no lifeboat, tell them we’re not about to drown?
What’s the appeal of lying?
"To take away the only thing thay have and thats the hope thay live in.”
You JUST SAID that they’re dying. If they’re ‘living’ on hope, they’re going to die just as fast.
“An ugly world Martin.”
Is yours better? Hey, you’re going to die in a few minutes, but THEN everything will be goodness and light. Unless you’re in Hell. Can’t be sure until we’re there.
“Seek God.”
Towards what end do you imagine?
Why would i seek a god i don’t believe in?
