In science, we attempt to mitigate human fallacies to achieve results as reliable as possible. This also involves not willfully misrepresenting statistics and the understanding that testimonials are unreliable. In corrupt politics, the opposite is true: facts are politicized, statistics are misrepresented for denial or panic and idols ramble their claimed personal experience and opinions, testimony. So this is a textbook example of the latter, where RFK falsely claims that childhood diabetes and autism are 10+ times higher than they actually are, for panic and that this supposedly is visible everywhere (hallucinations? disinformation?). In airports? Not a proper sample. Your own diagnostic by sight alone? Woo? Invalid.
Meanwhile, while most agree with awareness programs to improve general health and that some forms of diabetes can be aggravated by poor life style, autism is also mixed in the package when it's completely unrelated. While some hypothesize that some forms of autism could relate to environmental pollution, RFK does not address pollution, he's actually part of a regime that denies anthropogenic climate change and systemic environmental racism and prostitutes to the oil industry and corporate abuse.
It's also worth reminding that when RFK claimed to be an environmentalist, it was actually anti-vaccine activism, also based on unscientific panics, like a negligible amount of a mercury-containing molecule as a preservative. Again, autism was claimed to be related without evidence whatsoever. This is just like the "protect the children" propaganda that's actually not about their wellbeing, but to push regressive policies and oppress groups. Meanwhile, the result of the idiocy is harmful. Some diseases that were mostly eliminated are back. The environment is still a dump. Many people are forced to live in areas so polluted that they face chronic illness and early death. Of course, RFK will not care.
