So despite the fact that you didn't get to properly learn of the goddess Venus, you're accountable to her from your first breath. Therefore, because you don't worship her rightfully, your destiny is Hades. Why not, because it does not appear to be fair to you?
For children the answer is easy, they are gullible and dependent on adults, it will work with any deity and it is not evidence that it exists, only evidence of dependence and submission. The same reason that they are vulnerable to abuse but cannot consent to sex. The difference is that unlike with Santa Claus, there is another mythological being that you would like to still impose, even on adults.
It is simply false that virgin minds are already indoctrinated in your ideology and in the belief in your favorite deity and doctrines. Even missionary work, preaching and contracts like baptism conflict with this claim. And again, if babies were religious, why would it be knowledge of your particular deity when there are so many, with some much older than yours?
The answer is clear: it is your ideological imposition of the particular one you chose, the one that you decided/swallowed as "yours", which is cultural.
Would a _just_ deity that cannot provide enough evidence of its existence to convince a non-believer, punish that person? Unbelievers have nothing to fear because they know that it would be unlikely. If they come to fear you because of your persecution of unbelievers, it exposes your own injustice, even if you attempt to justify your evil by appeal to false authorities like "the divine" or if you claim to speak for "the divine". And they would fear you, not a deity. For that reason, threats (including of hell torment) do not convince them that your deity exists.
Even believers have many conceptions of deities. It is also true for Christianity. Unlike with evidence based knowledge systems that tend to consiliate, religion tends to splinter with sectarianism.
I would worry about leaving children around someone who disregards their vulnerabilities and inability to consent, without adult supervision.
