There are plenty of situations where men go without sex. I didn’t have sex for my first 22 years. After getting married, i went without sex every duty night on base. I went without sex every patrol for up to 100 days underwater. After retiring from the military, I’ve gone without sex for months at a time on business trips.

And he’s omniscient, so there’s no way he could be surprised by the number of inmates.

But more importantly, these are souls. The bodies are left in the grave, or scattered as ashes. There’s no need for actual room, just a magic space to torture non-corporeal souls in. You could double the capacity without expanding any physical elements. This is like saying that doubling the population in the Matrix doubles the size of the buildings.

So an unbeliever with superior-than-bible ethics is "in Christ Jesus" for knowing that they don't need to fear hell, that's good (and apparently Jesus was also debating scripture in his day). But those "saved" can then fall and sin all they want and still avoid hell, evidence of a inferior "divine ethics" standard? A type of loophole God forgot about, like he supposedly didn't expect Eve and Adam to bite into the too-appetizing fruit-lure (woman fishing bait?), regretted sending the flood, etc?

The suffer-by-default-but-sin-as-you-want-once-saved theology appears to only be identitarian, "join my click then enjoy sin", alternatively, "join ranks and obey my sinful commands that I claim are God's".

Other than that threats of hell are still threats of hell, or you wouldn't need to try to deny it and issue more threats of hell... Another interesting bug where wise humans don't have to fear. Not all Christians believe in eternal torment either.

How do I know hell eternal torment doesn't exist? The little elves who forged me from the hell fire told me it was just the "dust" we come from and go back to... Sarcasm, of course. It's easier to understand that an apparently powerless or inexistent deity creating beings with the intention to make them suffer would be an unethical deity, other than a figment of the human imagination.

And it's not because life originated via abiogenesis, that animals function with biology and that their brains function with neurology and that neurology works with electrochemical processes, that it suddenly strips humans of being and value. Which god? Where will we find it? How can we verify which is the most powerful, the greatest one? Trial by lightning? How do you prove that a particular one wasn't the creation of mortal humans, especially when they obviously have human attributes? How do you prove that ancient ethics were not of human origin, when the writings obviously were? How do you explain older deities than yours and older traditions than ours, including law codes and ethics? Why don't you base your life around the Code of Hammurabi and don't you worship Shamash, the god of your god that we can all see and feel in the sky? Why do you accept to use modern technology if it rests on reality-based principles that you reject? So many questions! Once they're all properly resolved perhaps I can reevaluate my impression.

Your assertions are also not without consequence. I will not obey someone who has no better justification for their orders than "my god is powerful and wants you do do this like that ancient human wrote" and will denounce those who abuse others using such flawed justifications.

And this reminded me of:

Fun Fact: Disney approached those in the Anthro scene to get input from them prior to the production & release of that which was a massive success, “Zootopia”. PROTIP: The sequel out now. I’ve seen that too. It’s damn good. So many in the scene consider Disney’s “Robin Hood” in 1973 to be the gateway film. All that exposure from a humanoid bunny superhero in the early 1980s right up to a smash hit film featuring a bunny cop. Outside of comics, all the gay/lesbian art I’ve seen too. Question:

I very vividly remember, just a year ago, the entire world calling me a racist, a bigot, an inbred imbecile because I wanted to talk about the history of World War II. Now, what is every single podcaster on the planet talking about now that I brought it up first?

The only podcasts I listen to are about pro wrestling. Believe it or not, World War II isn’t a topic that often comes up on those! Maybe Jim Cornette’s mentioned it a few times in passing, because sometimes he goes into wrestling history as far back as that.
