Um, planes are made of very lightweight materials to improve their performance, IE slipping the surly bonds of Earth and losing your luggage. At the speed that was going, you’re not going to find a plane as much as a very crumpled beer can.

I know Ron DeSantis has been through at least three military schools for analyzing photographic evidence of aircraft operations and/or mishaps, so his conclusions must be taken well-nigh as gospel.
However.
They published the dash-cam film. LOTS of people with the training and the equipment to do a detailed analysis of that impact have the film, or copies of copies of copies of the film, anyway. If it’s not a Lear Jet, we’re going to know soon enough.

No it’s not.
Near as I can tell from the film, it’s still largely Lear-shaped.
MAYBE a critical piece fell off, but a missile attack would leave a distinctly different shape when it hit the ground.
Also, this Administration would already be saying that they HAD to shoot down the assassination attempt, and finding links between the pilot and Castro…
