Ah sh*t, here we go again.
Many wives have a rebellious habit of not doing what their husband says. Then, when the husband gets angry, the wife makes excuses as to why she did things differently. The husband rightfully asks, "But what did I tell you to do? I told you to do this, and you went and did something else."
Again, the presumption that the husband is always right and any reason the wife gives for not doing something is "making excuses". I suspect it'd also apply if she did what he ordered in a way he didn't like but either A) still got the task properly done or B) accomplished the task in a more efficient or cost-saving way.
I could easily see Stewart citing examples like
* "He told his wife to order a specific dishwasher that cost $500, but she disobeyed him by getting a different one. Her excuse was that it was a better model with more features and cost just $375."
* "He told her to move a haystack from one location to another with a pair of tweezers, to which she rebelled and moved it with a shovel instead, excusing it by claiming that it was quicker and that his order was "idiotic" and "designed to waste [her] time"."
* "He told her to slap their daughter's face because she refused to get him a beer. When he noticed a lack of redness, the daughter replied that mom "comforted [her]" and they "bonded over suffering from abuse", thereby rioting against him and God!"
Biblically, a husband has a God-given right to "tell" his wife what to do (Genesis 3:16), and she is Biblically obligated to obey him (1st Peter 3:6). Most women today resent such an idea, and REBEL against the plainest teachings of the Word of God.
"The husband has a God-given right to make his wife do anything he wants! The wife has a God-given right to do what her husband tells her to do!"
Just admit you want wives to be considered the property of their husbands, Stewart. It'd save all of us a lot of time, and you'd be honest for once.
As a result, women are filing for divorcing in America at least TWICE the rate of men, buying into the lying feminist propaganda that husbands who give orders are guilty of "domestic abuse."
Ah, yes, because orders can't possibly include threats (explicit or implied) or involve violence or somesuch. Nope, feminists definitely believe "If your husband tells you to set up a doctor's appointment for your son, that's domestic abuse!"
I receive letters frequently from women
Restraining orders, no doubt.
who have sinfully filed for divorced. They all demonize their husbands in an attempt to justify their sin of divorce.
Because of course they couldn't possibly have a legit reason, it's all "excuses" and "attempting to justify being rebellious against God". Also, great job proclaiming that divorce is a sin but being an abusive asshole husband somehow isn't.
(Notice also that he blasts women who file for divorce but seemingly gives men who file for divorce a pass.)
...Yeah.
Go to hell, Stewart, along with all the abusive asshole "Christian" husbands whose behavior you're trying to justify.
