$40 for a fast food burger meal?
Thanks Biden, and thank you ... you jackasses who voted for him (real and fraud)

The major corporations are using the short period of supply issues as a continuing justification for inflating their prices. They’re making money hand over fist, reporting record-breaking profits, and buying back their own stock.
And the GOP didn’t vote for any measures to limit price gouging. Thanks, fuckknuckles.
Last time I ordered fast food was $14.50 (I checked the receipt just now) and that was for a burger, drink, and fries with upcharged extras, from a minor local chain which doesn’t do discounts for combo meals. Just for further reference, I looked up the current prices for the nearest McDonalds and combo meals range from $6.84 to $12.69, the latter being for a double quarter pounder with the largest-sized drink and fries. $40 is either from a *much* fancier place or a family meal for 4-5 people. (And I do note that they didn’t specify per-person…)
When I used to go to McDs (finally made myself quit about 4 months ago, bag lunches taste better and are better for me) a #7 meal was $6.33. That’s two cheeseburgers with all the fixins, fries, and a drink. It goes up to like $7.50/75 if you supersize it. I don’t know if someone just saw you and thought they could really upcharge you, or you got a bunch of stuff like desserts and snacks and such, or you’re just plain lying (or could be all of the above with this dude), but burgers don’t normally cost anywhere near as much as you’re saying.
The concept of ‘London Prices’: how things are more expensive in the capital than where I live: Hull. At the McDonald’s in Hull:

The most expensive Extra Value Meal - Main, Fries & Drink - is £7.99: that being based on a Triple Cheeseburger (with Large sundries): but I usually have a Big Mac or Quarter Pounder EVM: £5.99.
The last time I was in London - October 2019 - the latter was £4.99.
As it was in Hull.
I guess those who didn’t vote for Biden - such as you, JonFAILman - are liars.
“$40 for a fast food burger meal?”
Fuckin WUT? It’s fuckin 30$ here for a bloody Burger Priest and Five Guy(with fries added and extras’d), chains far more reputable than a fast food joint general. From actual fast food places I can get meal offers easily for 8.99 or some shit very much alike.
Well, yesterday I went to Five Guys and got a bacon cheeseburger and a small fries and that cost between $18 and $19. I suppose if this person went to a similar place and ordered a meal for two, it could have cost around $40. But blaming Biden for these places raising their prices is pretty dumb.
Confused?
