Sure, it is "possible" that a team of US actors left no traces and secretly bioengineered a virus with no signs of genetic tampering and unleashed it on foreign soil. Super crazy unlikely though. And what, they did this with the hopes that Trump would bungle the FUCK out of the resulting pandemic? Because if he handled it well he would have cinched the election for sure, possibly even cause a huge red wave in Congress.
Because the main reason the pandemic was as bad as it was in the US was because everything Fauci and Friends were suggeating was either ignored or contradicted by Republicans. So the only reason it screwed over Trump is because he's an idiot who didn't follow advice and his lackeys are delusional reality deniers.
If they reacted to a pandemic in a solid manner it would have only helped them. If the "evil plan" relies on the people you're trying to destroy already being the fucking worst, is the plan really needed anyway?

For this theory to work they would have to know Trump would screw up Covid response. Why would a Trump supporter even suggest that they knew Trump would do a bad job?
If Trump was as skilled as Tomi believes he was, he would have handled COVID response correctly and had a huge landslide victory in 2020.
